I love rings that have some wiggle to them.
This is one of those rings. This ring also hearkens back to designs I have been doing for over 25 years and I still love to make them!
The mounting is layered and has a nice streak of negative space that gives the ring some volume without making it overly heavy.
The 7 x 5 mm pear shaped amethyst stands 6.3 mm off the inside of the shank and is tilted off at an angle to accent the curves of the ring.
The ring is a finger size 7.5 but could easily be sized up or down to fit. If sized up more than one size there will be a charge for the gold added but not the labor.
This ring weighs 4.17 dwt (6.49 grams).
The shank measures between 2.7 mm wide to 4.2 depending on where the measurement is taken and is 1.65 mm thick.
The amethyst is a deep rich purple but if there is another color you would like get in touch and ask. A different gemstone could put put in this style ring.
