I am such a fan of sapphires!
It took me years before I found an appreciation for cabochons (the smooth cut stones with no facets) but now that I have there is no turning back!
With colored stones it is all about color. Go figure...
This 7 x5 mm, 1.25 carat sapphire is such a rich deep blue it is truly quite mesmerizing all while sitting between 2, 2.8 mm I1 clarity, G color diamonds which brings out the depth of color even more.
This ring is hand made from 14 karat white and yellow gold to allow this ring to go with anything else you might wear.
The stone is very low profile and only sits 4.9 mm off the inside of the ring. The band itself is 3.3 mm wide all the way around and is 1.6 mm thick at the base. The overlays on the sides not only add detail but thicken the shank up to measure 2.1 mm.
This ring is a finger size 7.5, but could be sized to fit, and weighs 3.48 Dwt (5.42 grams). If the ring needs sized up more than one size there will be a charge for the gold added but nothing for the labor.
