This ring has a utilitarian sensibility with a big ol' dash of flair.
The 8 mm wide sterling, comfort fit style ring is soft and understated then the Montana sapphire leaps up sitting in its 18 karat yellow gold split bezel.
Though I do not tend to make rings that stand as tall as this, at 7 mm from the inside of the ring, without some metal work to ease the transition, I was thrilled with this outcome.
Solid yet soft this ring could easily withstand daily wear. The durability of the sapphire only adds to this.
The sapphire at 4.7 mm and 0.50 carats, has the steely quality that is common in Montana sapphire and one of the reasons I love them so.
The wider silver bands can be stretched up a bit to size but are not as flexible as narrower bands. With this, if you like this style but it is not the right size I would be happy to make you another with my available gemstones.
