I am sorry but I gotta say...
This ring is so darn cool!
A real departure from other rings I have, this is a combination of a bezel and prongs, the stone is set sideways and is assembled in such a unique fashion to boot!
Set in sterling silver, though available in and combination of gold you might like, this rutilated (yes, it is natural) is enchanting to look at!
The gemstone measures 16 x 12 mm (a nice large stone) and stands 8.4 mm off the inside of the shank.
I have added patina to the shelf below the gemstone to make the contrast, as well as the intrigue, sharper.
The shank starts out at just over 6 mm wide at the top and tapers back to measure 3.9 x 1.8 mm at the base.
The ring is a finger size 7 and can be adjusted up or down within reason.
